Description
This succulent is thought of as a useful kitchen windowsill herb—not to cook with, but to snap open should a mild burn or other mishap occur while cooking. The powdered herb also lends soothing qualities to salves, lotions and other topical preparations. This powder is made from the dried, inner pith of the leaf of Cape aloe, a species native to the Western and Eastern Cape of South Africa that is also known as bitter aloe. Aloe Vera is used for types of burns, such as third degree x-ray burns. Help Heal Skin, Constipation and the Immune System
