Sapo (Eryngium carlinae, yerba del sapo, hierba del sapo, grass frog, grass toad) has hypolipidemic,antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Sapo is used in traditional medicine to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood and arteries. Sapo is used to treat gallstones and kidney stones.
Origin: Central America, Mexico General commercial dose: One 400 mg capsule General dosage: Two capsules two or three times daily with meals.
