There was an article concerning different herbs and minerals that you could try to relieve pain in the magazine a few months ago. I tried them and they seemed to be working. However, I cannot find it again and I have run out of some of them.

William, I do not read women’s magazine. However I do know very well natural remedies for pain as I use many and they do work.
For fibromyalgia or muscle soreness:
Magnesium Malate. I also use it on occasion for migraines. I use Source Naturals tablets.
For general pain:
Turmeric. I use New Chapter brand in gelcaps.
For searing burning pain, the kind of insane pain I got when I weaned from prescription steroids:
Bromelain: this eats up the fibrin at the cellular level. Fibrin is what causes the pain. The bromelain digests it and voila: no more pain.
I also use mind over matter techniques for pain. I rarely experience pain any more.
Some believe salicylic acid from willow bark works for headaches. I have not really tried this.
